i thought i'd be a famous table tennis player. i had all the makings of one: the speed, the skills, the backspin-serve, and even the hair. the only thing standing between me and my dream was a table tennis license.

that summer, i was diagnosed with heart disease. my broken heart ended my career before it even started. 

now, i don't know what will happen. am i just going to drop dead anytime? 

but then, i had a revelation:

if I'm going to die, then i should do whatever the f@ck i want.

so the next morning i made a list. 

#1 on my list was asking out the prettiest girl in my school.

she said yes!

10 years later, i created a website called: dudethereisdeath.com to remind people that they will die one day, so they should live it up. it started with some friends and it grew to hundreds within a month. eventually, it went viral in turkey. 

shortly after, an ad agency wanted to buy it and this is how i met with my first creative director. 

one day at work i searched, "what's the best advertising school in the world?" and miami ad school popped up.

i hacked their website before they launched in turkey. my stunt won people’s attention.

i got a scholarship and they got the buzz. good deal.
